The Most Beautiful Cob House Ever?

There are a few natural buildings that stand out in my mind as some of the most beautiful examples. One of them is Meka’s cob cottage. Meka Bunch of Wolf Creek, Oregon built this stunning cob house over a four year period. Complete with hand-sculpted furniture, shelves and nooks built directly into the walls, arched windows, and a killer custom staircase, his cob building is a divine artistic achievement.

Check out the photos of Meka’s cob cottage for yourself.

My husband and I are making plans to build with our family home with cob, and while I was doing some research I found your website. I think that this is the most beautiful home! I have admired this home before, in pictures that I have found in other random searches. I was wondering however, is that an earthen plaster? From the picture it looks as if your walls have different pigments…is that so? If so what natural pigments can you use to color your plaster? thanks so much, we are still majorly in the learning process and need all the help we can get. :D
